A Bit of Context

At the core of my being, I am a dreamer. An imagination that never ceases to wonder is what lines the steps of my everyday travels; guided with the perspectives and experiences of the many people and places that I have the pleasure to come across.

My name is Edmund Velasco. I am a professional student of life, eternal dreamer of the next story and lover of expression in all mediums life has to offer. I have had the pleasure of being trained under professional commercial and studio photographer Jim West at Consumes River College in Sacramento, CA, and I am a lifestyle and portrait photographer. For myself, I have always been interested in the ways people tell their stories that dictate their lives, and documenting these infinite perspectives of the world that I inhabit is blessing I am forever grateful to capture.

I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people in the studio, experienced the beauty of love during a couple's momentous day, and explored the world of people's lives in my travels; working with experienced professionals and working individually to draft high quality images and media fitting to tell the stories that these moments deserve.
